Rentiuno Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 June 2026

DRAFT — not legal advice. This draft reflects how the Rentiuno app handles data based on the current codebase. Before publishing, fill in every [PLACEHOLDER] and have it reviewed by a lawyer, because you handle tenant (third-party) personal information under the Australian Privacy Act.

Who we are

Rentiuno ("Rentiuno", "we", "us", or "our") is a mobile app that helps landlords manage their rental properties, leases, tenants, rent and other income, and reimbursement requests. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use and share it, and the choices you have.

Rentiuno is operated by [LEGAL ENTITY NAME] (ABN [ABN]), [REGISTERED ADDRESS]. If you have any questions about this policy or your personal information, contact us at [CONTACT EMAIL, e.g. privacy@rentiuno.com].

This policy is written for Australia and follows the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). If you use the app from outside Australia, see "Your privacy rights" and "Where your information is stored" below.

A note on tenant and other third-party information

Rentiuno is built for landlords. As a landlord using the app, you will enter information about other people, mainly your tenants (for example their name, email, and phone number), so you can track leases and payments.

When you do this, you are responsible for that information. You should only enter details you are entitled to hold, and you should make sure your tenants know you keep their details in a property-management app and how to reach you about it. Rentiuno stores and processes this information on your behalf so the app can work. If a tenant contacts us directly about their information, we will generally refer them to you (the landlord who holds it) and help where we reasonably can. See "Your privacy rights" below.
